During my stay at Hotel Las Hamacas over Christmas, we were pleasantly surprised by the central yet serene location, just minutes away from essential amenities and beautiful beaches like Playa Santa Catalina. The room was comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely porch boasting a hammock - perfect for unwinding. The nearby Sugar Mama’s Café, with its delectable mango cheesecake, was a delightful bonus managed by the friendly hotel manager, Carolina. I particularly appreciated the lush garden, complete with inviting hammocks, a refreshing pool, and the convenience of a kitchenette in the room for simple meals. Despite encountering minor issues like a faulty light and low shower pressure, the attentive staff promptly addressed and resolved them by offering a room change. The new room not only featured a functional shower but also boasted a small kitchen with basic amenities and a reliable AC system. The overall cleanliness was commendable, and the tranquil setting allowed for a relaxing stay without any major disruptions. To the comfortable accommodation and thoughtful service, the property's proximity to surfing beaches, diving facilities, and dining options truly enhanced our Costa Rican getaway. Plus, the free high-speed WiFi ensured we stayed connected throughout our visit. Hotel Las Hamacas exceeded our expectations, providing a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home and eager to return for future adventures in the region.
